MEET ADAM LUSTGARTEN
New Leadership Delivering Results for Our Community
My name is Adam Lustgarten, and I have been a proud resident of Sunrise for 23 years. I am excited to announce my candidacy for the 2026 City of Sunrise Commissioner Seat D. With over 31 years of financial experience, I believe we can work together with the “Team Commission” to achieve additional financial growth and much more. I have had the privilege of serving on the Affordable Housing Board and am currently a member of the Economic Advisory Board. I also had the opportunity to assist with a municipality loan that directly impacted residents and businesses at large. I will be collaborating with the City of Police regarding the Community Academy.
My dedication to non-profits and community involvement is evident through my work with the March of Dimes, Junior Achievements, and hosting interactive financial literacy sessions with Sunrise schools. With my 31 years of banking and economic experience, I possess concrete skills in approving budgets up to $35 million. As our city grows at a rapid pace, this experience will be invaluable in ensuring the Team Commission has the necessary tools to support all advisory boards, from everyday initiatives to the most significant projects that will lay the groundwork for years to come.
I plan to host numerous community events to meet and greet Sunrise residents, listen to your voices, and share them to achieve positive results across the board. It is in our best interest to share outcomes that build the foundation for both small and large projects, no matter how complex. Sunrise residents have a great opportunity to participate in many advisory boards, including the Small Business Voice, Economic Advisory Board, Accessibility, Inclusion and Mobility Board, and many others.
Your growth ideas are best shared with me as a candidate and as an elected official. Together, we can address fiscal matters, community events, safety concerns, and infrastructure. It is my ultimate pleasure to be as resourceful as possible in speaking with residents throughout the campaign. I look forward to earning your vote for Sunrise Commissioner Seat D on November 3rd, 2026.
